About Us

Our History

Juntos Podemos is an initiative created in 2014 by Parents Alliance and Integra Institute.

It promotes the well-being of Hispanics living the United States through the design and implementation of social programs in five areas: education, health, community development, entrepreneurship, art and culture. Juntos Podemos has developed a network of 220 grassroots organizations to implement these programs and to foster synergies among them to expand their reach.

Juntos Podemos empowers grassroots organization by codeveloping and coimplementing programs that benefit the Hispanic community in five key areas: education, health, community development, entrepreneurship, art and culture.

YAF was founded in San Antonio, Texas in 1994 providing volunteers work one-on-one with students, building study skills that students can use the rest of their lives.
A group of businessmen founded Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos in San Antonio, Texas.
In 2002, the US receives one of the most significant gifts, “The Torch of Friendship” a monumental sculpture by the artist Sebastian located in the heart of San Antonio that symbolizes the friendship and union between two great nations, Mexico and the United States.
One of the founders, participated since 2002 as coordinator of the Economic Affairs Committee of IME, Institute for Mexicans Abroad. Achievements: Bancarization of migrants, Acceptance of consular ID in major banks, Ability to vote abroad
Began the program to help Mexican parents to improve their educational level and develop the strength that they need to get involved in their kids’ education and achieve their potential.
With the objective of improving Mexico’s image in the US, an amazing concert is organized with eight Mexican singers that were joined by the San Antonio Symphony.
The Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos board, authorized the creation and use of the name of an independent legal entity to support education and entrepreneurship of Hispanic youth, named AEM- USA Foundation, known today as Integra Institute.
Unidos en Salud, Siempre Mexico and Latinos Together, are created to support immigrants.

The initiative’s main goal is to support the Mexican community in the USA from a prosperous point of view in five main areas:
Education, Health, Entrepreneurship, Community Outreach, Art and Culture.

This initiative is supported by the Mexican Government through IME. We have served 9.1 million people through a network of more than 220 organizations.

The founders of Juntos Podemos, invite leading community leaders to be part of the largest network of support for Mexicans in the United States, with 220 organizations and more than one million people benefited.

The founders of Juntos Podemos have been working towards helping the Latino community in the United States for more than 20 years, culminating in the creation of Juntos Podemos initiative in 2014.
